LabAid Cardiac Hospital has set an example of incredible success in heart treatment. The organization set this example by touching the milestone of 12,000 successful heart surgery.
The company organized an event titled "We have touched the sky" at Sonargaon Hotel in the capital on Sunday.
Dr. Lutfar Rahman, chief surgeon of Lab Aid Cardiac Hospital, highlighted the success in heart treatment.
He said that the path of 12,000 successful surgeries was not easy.

He also commented that due to good treatment of this disease within the country rather than going abroad, the suffering of patients has decreased.

Editors Guild president Mozammel Babu praised the country's cardiac surgeons and service quality in the success celebration ceremony and said that the medical services provided by Bangladeshi surgeons with limited cost and limited number of medical equipment is not possible in any other country in the world.
In the event, the former health and family welfare advisor to the Prime Minister, Professor Syed Modasser Ali said that medicine and health care should be brought to the doorstep of the people through a specific system.
Chief Cardiac Surgeon of United Hospital Jahangir Kabir highlighted heart disease as the single main cause of human death worldwide.
Former president of BMA and Awami League leader Dr. Mostafa Jalal Mohiuddin thanked LabAid Hospital and urged everyone to work together.
He also said: "If all other hospitals and doctors come forward in the same way as Dr. AM Shamim and Dr. Lutfar Rahman are working, we will be able to reach our desired goal."
Cardiac surgeon Dr Lokman Hossain said that the rate of infection after surgery at LabAid Cardiac Hospital is the lowest.
